From a notch in the lip of the #706 Windbell, a ridge forms and extends over the slightly peaked dome and down to a sister notch on the opposite side - an interesting and decorative element that adds to the #706's architectural feeling. Its diamond-shaped brass fin extends from the conical ceramic clapper inside to create a natural and hollow sound while hand-carved designs inspired by nature, geometric shapes, or abstract patterns on the slightly-textured bell surface heighten the #706's visual interest.
