It appears almost unlikely that the large spheroid #702 Windbell should be suspended by such a delicate chain, yet it is. Cast in a plaster mold from a watery clay mixture, after nearly two weeks the #702 emerges. When leather-hard, its subtly textured surface is carved with designs inspired by nature and geometry by artisans. Peeking out from the bell’s edge, the smooth ceramic clapper dangles a triangular fin. Gentle breezes provoke a rich sound, both unexpected and deep, from the #702 Windbell.
