With three hand-carved bell forms surrounding an embellished clay clapper and a large diamond fin positioned in the center, the #13 windbell is one of our most interesting in terms of its structure. Instead of the clapper existing inside the bell form, it hangs in the middle of the piece with the three bell forms encircling it. In a sense, the bells are rung backwards, or from the outside-in. Because of the bell's configuration, the tone of its ring is slightly different from what you might expect. You may find that the pitch is deeper or more resonant than other bells. When its diamond-shaped fin catches the breeze, a symphony of unexpectedly pleasing sounds emerge, making the #13 windbell perfect to display outdoors.
