This piece can be seen as a representation of the relationships between humanity and the animal kingdom. Appearing as a human form connected to an animal head and tail, perhaps a coyote, it may display the interconnectedness in life, and the scales that tip from one side to the other in search of balance between humans and animals. This piece includes two bells, #134 and #135, and when ringing, calls forth a message of harmony and symbiosis in sentient life.
Sculptural Bell Mobiles feature Soleri-signed one-of-a-kind, never to be reproduced sculptural link elements, arranged into assembled compositions with our regular line bronze wind-bells. A Soleri-carved Styrofoam original sculpture was translated into either a bronze or aluminum sculptural link, via our "lost Styrofoam casting" process. Every original detail, including Soleri's signature, is revealed on the one-time cast link piece.
