Signature Artwork Details
This sculptural top, hand-carved into styrofoam by Paolo Soleri, was cast in bronze using a lost-foam casting process by the Arcosanti foundry team. The resulting one-of-one casting features a two-sided, abstract, linear design, along with Paolo Soleri's signature. This signed artwork, the accompanying bell and fin are all finished using a torch-burnish method, creating its unique high-shine, multi-hue surface appearance.
