Only regularly offered in the patina finish, this somewhat conically shaped large size bell is a smaller similar version to our largest bell, model #122B, which also distinctly features an irregularly angular, contoured exterior to its overall shape. The model #121P is one of three bell models that incorporates our visually striking "Plate" link, of which its appearance is often superficially characterized as a "rib-cage" design. Due to this bell's similar geometrical theme, model #121P would serve as an ideal display compliment to our model #122B. Each bell bears a unique design relief handcrafted, by a skilled artisan, into each bell's mold prior to casting. Original designs significantly vary from the displayed sample.
The highly variable color patterns range from green to turquoise or from orange to red or with all shades mottled on the same piece.
The bell and its bronze components are steel brushed for a lustrous finish and burnished (flame treated) with a torch in order to bring out metallic bronze highlights varying from colors of gold to iridescent shimmers of blues and greens. An acrylic spray coating completes the finish making it resistant to oxidation. The luster brilliance and subtle highlighted patterns are artistically and randomly achieved, and therefore will vary from displayed sample.
Dimensions of Entire Assemblage:
43" long from the top loop to the bottom edge of the fin (10.25" is the height of the bell component only, measured from the beneath the top of the bell in the valley between the two hanging points to the bottom edge of the bell)
10" measured at the widest point within the bell assembly, across the linkage (8.5" is the maximum width of the bell component only)
