Meet Mark Johnson, Our New General Manager and Director of Retail

You might have bumped into Mark recently if you have stopped into the gallery or taken a tour. With 20+ years of business development leadership experience in various industries, his greatest successes (and PASSION) have come when identifying, coordinating, and delivering new business/market development opportunities by working collaboratively and engaging customers.

Mark grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, surrounded by manufacturing, where his family business spanning multiple generations was in designing, fabrication, processing, and preparation of furniture. Next time you stop into Cosanti make sure you say hello to him.

Creating New Life From the Past

We have been working on cleaning up the property at Cosanti and restoring some of the buildings. While clearing some overgrown bushes around the Earth House, we discovered hundreds of discarded ceramic pieces dating back decades.

Select pieces were unearthed in their preserved condition, cleaned, and crafted into special assemblies and are available in the gallery.

Cosanti Originals In The News!

Cosanti Originals' latest beautiful installation at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa was recently featured in the Scottsdale Independent. Thank you to the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa for helping us build a better world, one (really big) bell at a time! All of the fantastic work done by the artisans of Cosanti Originals supports the mission of The Cosanti Foundation (our parent nonprofit), including projects and programs at Arcosanti and Cosanti.
