Unconventional Wind Bell Linkage Design

Our skilled artisan, Chris Hardy, has been working on an exciting new concept for our linkage system. As you can see in the picture, these linkages are different from the ones commonly seen on our windmills.

Hardy's inspiration began when he visited our sister site, Acrosanti, and came across our catalog image resembling a rising sun. This sparked his initial idea. Hardy's goal was to capture the beauty of that ascending sun, using the materials we work with every day at the Cosanti Foundry. Surprisingly, our existing links were a perfect fit for his creative vision.

While working on these innovative linkages, Hardy found new inspiration. He wanted to make the elegant design of our wind bell clusters more accessible to our customers. To achieve this, he took a design pattern from our wind bell cluster and scaled it down to fit one of our smaller wind bell models.

Cosanti Battling the Heat

As you were aware, Arizona recently made national news for experiencing extreme heat, with over 20 consecutive days of temperatures exceeding 110 degrees. To prioritize the safety of both our staff and customers. We took necessary measures to combat the excessive heat warnings.

Throughout the rest of the summer, our gallery modified its hours, operating from 7 am to 3 pm. Additionally, to safeguard our talented foundry artisans, we limited bronze pours to only two during this period. When temperatures start to decline, we will go back to our normal business hours and have 3 bronze pours a day.
