Our Casting Cosanti workshops return on May 15th and 22nd, featuring a guided tour, a look at our unique building techniques, and the chance to craft your own plaster tile using desert soil and natural pigments. Cosanti Summer Heat Protocol Guide
Be advised of the following heat protocols, closures, and schedule changes, which may impact hours and visitation in the high-heat of summer:
COSANTI GALLERY SUMMER HOURS
From June 1st-September 14th, we will be shifting our regular gallery hours to mitigate the afternoon heat—this is your chance to enjoy the early morning magic of Cosanti!
Monday - Saturday | 7am-3pm
Sunday | CLOSED
Our gallery is closed for the following summer holidays and will not be open for bronze pours, tours, or visitation:
Memorial Day | Monday, May 26th
Juneteenth | Thursday, June 19th
Independence Day | Friday, July 4th
SUMMER TOUR SCHEDULE
Beginning May 28th, tours will be held only once per morning from 9:15am to 10:30am on Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays.
This modified tour schedule will tentatively continue through August 1st, heat permitting.
BRONZE FOUNDRY HEAT PROTOCOLS
On days that exceed 105ºF, bronze pours will be scheduled for 9:30am and 10:30am only, Monday-Friday.
The foundry will not be conducting pours on days that are forecasted to exceed a temperature of 115ºF.
